In 2024, the summer universities "Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS)" and "Green.Building.Solutions. (GBS)" welcomed a total of 110 participants from 42 nations in Vienna!
At AEMS, students and professionals from all fields discussed problems caused by the economic status quo, such as environmental degradation and social inequality, before diving into the many different alternative approaches!
GBS focused on expert knowledge on sustainable building and planning practices: Students got to deepen their knowledge in fields such as alternative building materials, passive house design, energy efficiency, greening of buildings or urban planning.
