GBS is organized and conducted by the non-profit organization OeAD student housing in close collaboration with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU), and TU Wien. The aim of the summer university is to raise awareness on sustainability in the building sector while ensuring inclusivity. We strongly support the values of equal opportunities, empowerment and justice.
The program is held on a cost-covering basis and supported in planning and implementation by more than 70 partners. Financial funding is also provided by the City of Vienna and the Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology. See all our supporters here.
Scholarship-system: thanks to our sponsoring partners we can offer scholarships to highly qualified students with financial restrictions, who then can participate in the summer program.
