GBS is organized and conducted by the non-profit organization OeAD student housing in close collaboration with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU), and TU Wien. The aim of the summer university is to contribute to raising awareness without leaving anyone behind. We strongly support the values of equal opportunities, empowerment and justice.

The program is held on a cost-covering basis and supported in planning and implementation by more than 60 partners. Financial funding is provided by the City of Vienna and the Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology. See all our supporters here.

Scholarship-system: thanks to our sponsoring partners we can admit highly qualified students with financial restrictions, who then can participate in the summer program.

The funding of scholarships and your engagement for the education of future generation of changemakers can be part of your corporate social responsibility strategy in the field of sustainability and moreover, you could also financially support the continuing education of one of your employees while they are taking part.
