Our Mission

Since 2005, OeAD Student Housing has been providing sustainable and affordable accommodation in guesthouses built to the passive house standard and beyond. We combine the highest living standards with minimal environmental impact. As pioneers in energy-efficient and climate-conscious building practices, Austria plays a leading role in the global shift toward sustainable construction, and we are proud to contribute to this transformation.

Our mission is to make sustainable living accessible to all students while ensuring the highest quality of life.

Our Vision

We envision a future where sustainable living is the standard, not the exception. We aim to create not just living spaces, but also contribute to the global sustainability movement with energy-efficient buildings and impactful solutions.

Drawing from his expertise as a property developer and operator, Günther Jedliczka, CEO of OeAD student housing, initiated the Green.Building.Solutions (GBS) Summer University in 2011.

Together with local experts and key universities, the non-profit academic program was designed to educate future leaders in resource-efficient building practices. We seek to equip tomorrow’s professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to innovate a greener, more sustainable built environment.
