AEMS report out now!
This year already marked the 10th anniversary of the AEMS Summer University! Drawing on the expertise gained during the past years, the program again provided an interdisciplinary learning experience in Vienna and welcomed 48 participants from 24 nations!
Following a holistic approach to economics and sustainability, AEMS 2023 offered a range of acitivities: from in-class lectures and (panel) discussions to an excursion to IIASA in Laxenburg, social housing tour and educational games/simulations! Our students also presented initiatives or projects they are involved with at the "strategies of transition"-fair and worked together on an interdisciplinary group project for systemic change.
Further highlights of the summer program include extra-curricular social activities with sports evenings, movie night, dinner at a typical Austrian "Heurigen" restaurant, and public events that where held together with the summer university Green.Building.Solutions.
