Scholarships

Our academic partners offer scholarships to participate in the AEMS for the reduced fee of EUR 590,-

This fees include all program components and lecture-related activities, such as catered evening events, one dinner at an Austrian "Heurigen" restaurant and sports evenings. Find more information on what's included here.

Eligibility

The grants are available for highly qualified students in need of financial support:

If you are a student or member of one of our partners and want to apply, please mention the partner institution as "scholarship reference" in the application form. You will also be asked to fill in a short motivation statement.

Eligibility is checked based on application documents. Scholarships are granted based on the below criteria:
- Financial need
- Motivation letter
- Very good command of English
- Minimum academic level: pre-university (A-level)

When applying for a scholarship, be aware that AEMS is an intense program and attending all 3 weeks is mandatory. The summer university is held in-person in Vienna, attending virtually is not possible.

Accommodation

Accommodation in a student residence in Vienna is available for an additional EUR 300,-

This fee Includes accommodation for the entire 3 weeks of the program, plus 1 optional extra-week after AEMS 2025 free of charge. The accommodation is organized by us, OeAD student housing - you only need to let us know in the application form that you want to include accommodation as well.
